  1. Ohhhh these pics are so beautiful Jam, mashaa Allaah! The yarn colors are breathtakingly gorgeous. Question, what's the lizard thingy? And so is this considered the village version of downtown?

  2. Thanks sis, Jazakallahu Khairun Habiba! It's a purse, I guess, LOL! This is the closest city to us, it's like 45 minutes or so away. It has a couple hundred thousand people living there, unlike here where there is around twenty five thousand. It's more diverse than here, people from all over the country and some parts of Southern Africa as well live and work there. It's crowded though, as you can see in the first three pictures everyone lives right on top of each other. I have hundreds of pictures of this place and have just never gotten around to posting them.... I guess now is that time. ;-)

  4. Walaikum Essalam Um Almujahid, You know, I have developed a love/hate relationship with living here. It has such beauty and culture, and such nonsense that it's hard to know where I stand, in fact I change my mind from day to day. Making my poor hubby insane I know.. Insha'allah you will come back soon for a visit!

  5. @ Asiya, Sorry Sis, I thought you were talking about the purse but then I remembered those strange little lizards, I really have no idea what they are for and I didn't pick one up to see it closely. LOL
