Blackberry Cobbler

1/2 cup butter melted and cooled to room temp1 1/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 ts vanilla
1 ts baking powder
1 ts salt
2 cups blackberries rinsed and patted dry if fresh, frozen works too

Add everything except the blackberries to a big bowl and whisk it together. Butter a baking dish. Pour the batter into the buttered baking dish. Sprinkle blackberries over the top of the batter; distributing evenly. Sprinkle ¼ cup sugar over the top. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until golden and bubbly.
